WELCOME TO VERDEA
VERDEA is located in the Costa Vicentina Nature Park, one of the most stunning coastlines of Europe. It is planned as a 5-star aparthotel with 30 serviced apartments, co-working and event spaces, a clubhouse and restaurant, wellness and fitness areas, a mobility hub and outdoor lounges. The project connects strongly to local culture and integrates local small businesses into its service ecosystem.
The architecture is a collaboration between our URBAN CELL architects GRAFT and acclaimed Portuguese architect Mario Martins, who was born in the Algarve and has contributed to the new modernism in the region. Atelier Mario Martins is translating the URBAN CELL logic into the Genius Loci of Aljezur — creating a modern interpretation of a traditional Portuguese village, adapted to the landscape and local history.
All modular timber buildings are manufactured by CARMO Wood, the market leader for timber construction in Portugal.
